The orchestra Venezia Concerto unites the experience of single musicians
who have gained a deep understanding to the music of the 1700's thanks
to the cooperation with orchestras such as La Magnifica Comunità,
L'Orchestra d'Archi Italiana, I Solisti Veneti.
The group knew in the 1990's how to present the work of the "Prete
rosso" with such freshness and relevance that for years have attracted
thousands of spectators from all over the world over the course of
the various concerts that the orchestra holds
regularly in the city's most prestigious concert halls and
churches: that is why the group is considered one of Europe's
best performers of the music of Vivaldi and of the 1700s.
The ensemble has participated in shows such as "I Notturni
d'Arte '97", "Pomeriggi musicali", in Ville
in musica '99, performing at the Auditorium Pollini,
at the sixteenth-century Villa Contarini in Piazzola sul Brenta,
at the Museo Civico degli Eremitani, at the Teatro
Antonianum, at the Sala dei Giganti al Liviano
and at the Studio Teologico della Basilica di S. Antonio,
giving life to concert season in the city of Venice
and travelling throughout the cities of the regions of Veneto
and Friuli Venezia Giulia, alternating between programs of
baroque, classic and – more recently romantic.
In many years of in Italy and abroado, every single
component of the orchestra has gained significant experience playing
in the most important concert halls and theaters and gathering unanimous
public approvals and the attention of the press..
Venezia Concerto continues in the most typical
Venetian tradition and presents a fascinating repertoire
with the style of those times and today's enjoyment.
